“THE ART EXPERIENCE”
The idea for “The Art Experience” came to Cydette Vikander while talking with a friend who was an executive at a computer engineering company in Irvine, California, who had important clients visiting from Sweden and wanted to offer them unique and interesting things to do.
Cydette is a professional artist and Art Gallery owner, having trained in Paris and Los Angeles who now resides in Laguna Beach, a beautiful resort community known for its California Plein Air style of painting. A concept was developed to entertain VIPs by providing a unique experience that would enhance their memory of the company while providing an enjoyable, fun-filled afternoon.
“The Art Experience” is meant as an entertaining yet creative outlet for the complete novice or those that may have a background but no material on hand. This excursion is fully set up to make it easy and fun. It includes three plus hours along the cliffs, seaside in Laguna Beach, painting the magnificent shoreline and surrounding mountains. Each participant will have their own easel, canvas and art supplies, on hand instruction, inspiration and motivation by Cydette Vikander. They will take home a better understanding of art, an awakened sense of their own ability to express
themselves in the medium of oil, memories of their fun afternoon and a painting of their own creation; a timeless reminder of the experience.
Wine, beverages and hors d’ouevres served at the artist’s studio directly following the outdoor activity.
